Following a spinal cord injury in 1975 Paul Bush became involved in the assessment of individuals with severe injuries by providing expert opinion and recommendations to the Court on how people with a severe disability could be assisted to improve their lives and progress towards regaining a level of independence.
Paul and his daughter Rachel, a specialist spinal injury nurse, are passionate about improving the lives of people with a disability and this led to the formation of Bush & Company in 1986. This passion is a central feature of the values and principles by which Bush & Company operates as a business.
At the outset our focus was on the provision of quantum care and special needs reports for both Claimant and Defendant solicitors in personal injury and clinical negligence claims. This led to a demand for us to offer immediate needs assessment, case management and vocational rehabilitation services. Behavioural assessments and management services were added in 2011.
We aim to provide the highest standards of service provision through our clinical governance and quality assurance standards and by keeping the client at the heart of our service.
Bush & Company is an Equal Opportunities employer with a team of caring professionals including Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Workers, Assistive Technology Experts and Specialist Architects.

In 2011, Bush & Company achieved accreditation as a registered domiciliary care provider with the Care Quality Commission.
