Liz gained her degree in occupational therapy in 2000, from York University. She worked with children with a wide range of neurological, orthopaedic, burns, scars and hand injuries at Sheffield Children’s Hospital for 12 years as a senior occupational therapist.
Liz started her career in Durham, working with adults with orthopaedic, surgical and neurological conditions. She then went onto specialise in paediatrics at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. In this role Liz worked with children and their families to facilitate complex discharges.
She has specialised further into the areas of neuro rehabilitation and hand injuries. Liz has provided assessments, treatment planning, goal setting and treatment implementation for numerous complex cases.
