Leanne Potts

Leanne is an occupational therapist with extensive experience in case management and vocational rehabilitation in both Australia and the UK.  Leanne worked for seven years in the field of disability support and statutory welfare providing a range of services including case management, referral and signposting services.  She has been involved in case management in the personal injury sector since 2004.  Her caseload has focussed on complex orthopaedic injuries including amputations and has also included burns, de-gloving and crush injuries.  Leanne has strong mental health experience working with individuals with PTSD, anxiety and depression both as a primary illness and a sequelae to a physical injury.  Many of the individuals that Leanne has worked with have had long standing injuries and have developed chronic pain in addition to their primary injury or illness.

Gill Horler

Gill is a registered Occupational Therapist with over 18 years’ experience working with clients with a variety of physical and cognitive impairments.  She has considerable experience and knowledge in a wide range of complex cases including acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury and neurological conditions.  Gill is passionate about enabling people to achieve fulfilling and rewarding lives, as independently as possible, working closely with the client, their family and the multidisciplinary team.

Helen Stewart

Helen Stewart has worked as a case manager for over 9 years and gained experience working with adults who face complex multifaceted challenges as a result of catastrophic injuries.

She has experience in the management of amputees, complex orthopaedic problems, and spinal injuries, which may also be combined with mild brain injury, psychological disturbance, and pre-existing conditions.

Beccy Westaway

Beccy has diverse experience as a physiotherapist within the NHS, military and private practice, and has treated a wide range of complex conditions.

Beccy has been working as a Rehabilitation Case Manager in the UK since 2011, and is an advanced member of BABICM.

Beccy predominantly works with adults who have sustained catastrophic injury, including brain injury, spinal cord injury, complex orthopaedic injuries and other neurological conditions. She has specialist knowledge in dizziness and balance disorders.

Elaine Gaffney

Elaine has in excess of 25 years’ experience working with clients with spinal cord injury (SCI) and orthopaedic injuries. She is able to utilise current clinical evidence to support her clinical judgment and has successfully managed clients and their families following SCI.

Elaine has extensive specialist knowledge and experience in the management of physical and neurological injury and the complex problems these conditions frequently carry with them. She is able to support clients with their rehabilitation management and has considerable experience negotiating, implementing and evaluating client centred rehabilitation programmes linking statutory and private services wherever possible.

Jackie Walsh

Jackie is a qualified Social Worker with over 25 years’ experience working with adults and children. She is an experienced practitioner and manager within statutory social work and the private sector both in the UK and Australia. Her experience covers safeguarding for children and vulnerable adults, mental health work, children and adults with complex disability and assessment of their right to statutory services. She has set up a domiciliary care service for children with complex needs and has been a social work lecturer for the Open University. Jackie also has experience working as a care expert in medico legal cases.  She has extensive experience in setting up packages of care both through direct employment and using agencies. She also has extensive experience in putting in place statements of special educational need for children with complex needs.

Deborah Perry

Deborah is an experienced social worker and has worked as a case manager for over 5 years  She successfully case manages highly challenging, cognitively impaired clients, including adults and children with challenging behaviour, brain injury and spinal cord injury clients with extensive experience of completing, implementing monitoring and reviewing goal plans. She ensures thorough assessment, review of needs and services are always undertaken including accuracy of the recording of such.

Liz Lambert

Liz has 17 years’ experience working with clients with a variety of physical and psychological difficulties. She worked at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital for 13 years with children with neurological and orthopaedic injuries. Liz has also worked in the community with children and adults with various disabilities for the past six years.

She has specialist experience in the management of brain injuries and complex orthopaedics problems, and supports clients in their rehabilitation management.
