Michelle qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Coventry in 2005, commencing an Occupational Therapy rotation, working in mental health, acute medicine and orthopaedics. During this rotation Michelle developed her assessment and clinical reasoning skills. This enabled Michelle to provide occupation focused assessments and intervention leading to maximising the independence and safety of individuals in their own homes or agreed discharge destination. Anita Laidlaw is a qualified Occupational Therapist with 30 years’ experience. Anita is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT). Hilary has a vast amount of experience and expertise of working with adults and children with a wide range of complex disabilities including: brain injury; spinal injury; cerebral palsy; orthopaedic injuries; chronic pain syndrome; amputations; cancer; respiratory conditions; and cerebrovascular accident. She is particularly skilled in assessing and making recommendations for the provision of specialist equipment and housing adaptations. Hilary has also been instrumental in advising on the care requirements to support people with complex physical, cognitive and social needs ranging from domiciliary type packages up to 24 hour support.

Claire Ashton qualified as an Occupational Therapist from the University of Salford in 1998, with a BSc (Hons) degree. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT).
Upon qualification, Claire worked with South Manchester University Hospital Trust, where she gained experience in the areas of Neurology and Orthopaedics, in both acute and rehabilitation settings. In October 1999, Claire gained a promotion into a more senior position, working in the community in an interdisciplinary community rehabilitation team. She qualified in 1983 gaining a degree in Occupational Therapy from the Federal University of Pernambuco in Brazil.
