Tracy Fields

Tracy graduated from the University of Teeside in 1994 with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy, and has since then working as a physiotherapist in the NHS firstly in Worksop the in Sheffield, in a large teaching hospital and then in a specialist children’s hospital with a bust major trauma center. Tracy has spent the majority of her career working within the specialist areas of limb reconstruction, orthopaedics, amputees and more latterly plastic surgery and burns injuries.

For the majority of her career, Tracy has specialised in musculoskeletal conditions particularly in the paediatric field. Tracy has a vast experience of treating children with congenital conditions, complex trauma and following the surgical management of neuromuscular conditions such as cerebral palsy.

Cathy Preston

Cathy Preston graduated from Birmingham University in 1997 with a BSc Honours Degree in Physiotherapy, and spent the first 8 years post-graduate as a physiotherapist in the NHS firstly in Sheffield and then Leeds, working across a broad spectrum of acute and out-patient departments. Specialising early in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, Cathy spent a significant amount of time working within orthopaedics, hands and plastics, burns, rheumatology and hydrotherapy, specialising further in 2002 in musculoskeletal lower limb disorders. Cathy is fully accredited by Cardiff University as an Expert Witness.

Wendy Murphy

Wendy Murphy prepares medical-legal reports, the purpose being to make a full, fair and impartial evaluation of a disabled individual’s needs and requirements to assist the Court in calculating the quantum of damages.

Wendy Murphy is a State Registered Physiotherapist, has a Master of Science Degree in Evidence Based Health Care at the University of Oxford and a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching in Higher Education. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology and the Medical Legal Association of Physiotherapists.

Kate Tebbett

Kate Tebbett is a state registered physiotherapist with a Bachelor of Science honours degree from the University of the West of England. She is Bobath trained and is Lead Physiotherapist for a Scope college working with young people (19- 25years) with complex neurodisability.

Laura Bochkoltz

Laura Bochkoltz has 20 years experience as a Physiotherapist and has specialised in Spinal Cord Injuries. Her Clinical Specialist role in the NHS, the private sector and in her private practice gives her a comprehensive insight of the long-term problems and needs of the spinal cord injured individual. As an expert witness her assessments are thorough, the rational behind her recommendations are clearly explained. Her medico legal reports are fair, impartial, individualised and well presented.

Sue Paddison

Sue Paddison commenced her current post as Superintendent Physiotherapist, in the London Spinal Cord Injury Centre (LSCIC) at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Trust, Stanmore in October 1993 and is the Physiotherapy Clinical Specialist in Spinal Injuries and team leader. She has more than 20 years experience working as a Senior/Superintendent Physiotherapist in Spinal Cord Injuries services.

Caroline Havard

Caroline Havard is a physiotherapist with 29 years’ experience of working with children, young people and adults with disability.  She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. She graduated with a BSc Honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster in 1987. Subsequent qualifications include the Bobath course and the Post-Graduate Certificate in Posture Management for People with Complex Disability from Oxford Brookes University.

Charlotte Turnpenny

Charlotte Turnpenny has been a qualified physiotherapist since 2000. For the past 12 years Charlotte has been working within the field of neurology and neurosurgery. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). She is a member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Neurology (ACPIN) and the Multidisciplinary Association of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals (MASCIP).

Deborah Elder

Deborah Elder MCSP, Grad Dip Phys, AACP, LPT MK is registered with the Health Professions Council and is a specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist with postgraduate qualifications in orthopaedics and sports injuries. She has qualified as a physiotherapist in three countries – Great Britain, USA and France.

She is a Regional Officer for Physiofirst (an elected post covering central England for the organisation for private physiotherapists), a member of the Physiofirst Journal ‘In Touch’ Editorial Committee and a member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists, and the Medicolegal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists. She is a past member of the Executive Committee of the Public Relations Committee for Physiofirst.
