Helen joined Bush & Company as Managing Director in July 2016 with responsibility for overall strategy and leadership within the business as well as business development, quality and clinical independence.
Prior to joining Bush & Company Helen spent four years at NAHL Group as Group HR Director, sitting on the Operating Board and held HR leadership roles at Everest, BUPA and Tesco.
Helen holds a BSc (Hons) and an MBA.
Karen has been a Director of Bush & Company since 2009 responsible for the delivery, via a national network of case managers and specialists, of rehabilitation, case management, vocational and behaviour support services.
In October 2016 Karen became Clinical Director, responsible for the clinical governance arrangements across the company.
Karen is a Registered Nurse with over 30 years experience of rehabilitation and a board member of CMSUK, contributing to the development of an educational pathway for case management.
After training at the Nottingham School of Nursing, Rachel specialised in spinal cord injuries at the Duke of Cornwall SIU, and held the position of Clinical Nurse Specialist in spinal injuries at the Prince Henry Hospital, Sydney, Australia.
Over a period of more than 24 years, Rachel has prepared hundreds of reports on the instruction of both claimant and defendant solicitors and retains a special interest in our expert witness services.
Sarah joined Bush & Company in July 2016 and is accountable for the delivery of an excellent service for both instructing and injured parties.
Sarah is a registered nurse with 30 years of experience; specialising in neurosciences, intensive care and rehabilitation. Sarah joined the case management industry in 2002, and in her most recent role prior to joining Bush & Company had responsibility for 12 teams of rehabilitation and case management professionals; working across the injury acuity scale.
HEAD OF EXPERT WITNESS SERVICES
Amey started her career in the automotive industry before moving into the healthcare sector in 2008.
More recently, Amey held the position of Head of Community Services and Registered Manager for the UK’s largest mental health charity, which included expert witness services.
HEAD OF REHABILITATION AND CASE MANAGEMENT
Fiona joined Bush & Company in 2015 and is responsible for line management of our operations managers and supervision of our case managers and supporting the development of the service. Ensuring our quality standards are adhered to in all cases.
Fiona is a Registered Nurse with over 24 years’ experience of working with patients and clients in a range of primary and secondary care settings.
Prior to joining Bush & Company managed the internal Rehabilitation team at a leading insurer.
Abid sits on the Operating Board and his responsibilities include management of the Finance function, financial modelling, forecasting and financial reporting.
Abid holds a BSc (Hons) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, having trained with PwC.
HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Mark joined the operating board of Bush & Company in 2016 and is responsible for customer relationships, marketing and commercial development activities.
Prior to joining Bush & Company Mark has spent over 10 years working with solicitors and insurance companies in a variety of consulting, strategic account management and business development roles.
After graduating from the University of Leicester with BA (hons) Mark went on to complete the Common Professional Examination.
