By Bush & Company

Bush & Company’s Expert Witness team assess and report on the accommodation needs of individuals with disabilities.

Our experienced Accommodation Experts Brian Towers and Jane Toplis are both registered architects with over seven decades of experience in the field of accommodation between them.

They are both members of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and National Register of Access Consultants (NRAC), and have considerable experience of assessing the accommodation needs of individuals with disabilities including paraplegia, tetraplegia, brain injury, cerebral palsy, amputation, visual impairment and a range of other permanent disabilities.

Brian and Jane’s experience and expertise enables them to assess the Claimant’s current and long-term accommodation requirements, establishing clear recommendations to meet their needs. This may include extensions and adaptations to provide a fully-accessible environment and accommodation for carers if required. It may also include researching suitable alternative accommodation if the property cannot be adapted to meet the Claimant’s needs.
