Cycle challenge in aid of CES UK Charity

By Bush & Company

Once again Bush & Company Case Manager Sarah Hinsley will be taking on an incredible challenge all in the name of charity!

On 14 November 2015 Sarah will be flying 12 hours 40 minutes from London Heathrow to Singapore, and then a further 2 hours to Ho Chi Minh City where she will begin her 400km journey from Vietnam to Cambodia…by bicycle!

With a 7 hour time difference, jet lag, daily temperatures that reach an average of 33 degrees and humidity of 81% it’s going to be tough, but she is ready for the challenge.

The reason Sarah is taking part in this challenge is to raise money for the Cauda Equina Syndrome UK Charity of which she is a Trustee.

Cauda Equina Syndrome is a serious neurological condition in which there is damage or compression to the spinal nerve roots in the lumbosacral spine which can ultimately lead to paralysis.  One of the charity’s goals is to produce educational packages for the NHS to raise awareness of this condition enabling earlier diagnosis and treatment for these patients.
