Amy is an experienced Occupational Therapist having qualified in 1999 from the University College of Ripon and York St John.
Amy is registered with the HCPC and is a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapy. Throughout her career, Amy has gained experience of liaising with a variety of agencies including; funding providers within the NHS, social care and private provision also families, Care Agencies, Case Managers, Solicitors and Therapists.
Amy has been involved in making recommendations on the care needs of clients as they are discharged from an acute setting and as they are managed throughout the rehabilitation process and onwards towards long term management of the client’s condition in relation to their care needs. She has been responsible for the development of care plans, behaviour support plans and risk assessments for clients presenting with challenging behaviour and complex needs following brain injury.
Amy has been involved in completing training with both family members and carers including areas such as managing behaviour, cognition and moving and handling.Download CV
