Caroline graduated with an honours degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Ulster in 1987. Following graduation, Caroline began her career as a Junior Physiotherapist at Llandough Hospital, Cardiff, gaining experience in respiratory, thoracic surgery, care of the elderly, musculo-skeletal, Intensive Care, Stroke Unit, special school and community paediatrics.
In addition to her primary care role at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board, Caroline currently provides and coordinates the service to Crownbridge Special School, Cwmbran, Torfaen, which has been awarded the Quality Mark for delivering the MOVE Programme.
Caroline has experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team addressing the needs of children with complex disability, including collaborating with other professionals in the provision of specialist seating, wheelchairs, lying and standing supports and walking frames. She is actively involved in development of service provision to this client group.
Caroline is currently participating in the NCEPOD chronic Neuro-disability study as a Case Reviewer.
