Join us soon…
Due to the current situation with COVID-19 we have taken the decision to postpone our Annual Conference and Gala Dinner and we’re working hard to find and schedule in a revised date..
When rescheduled the conference will continue to focus on resilience and will be titled ‘Resilience Unwrapped: The impact of catastrophic injury’ and in particular looking at the physical, emotional and practical elements of resilience. Known as the art of ‘recovering from an incident, resilience is crucial to human coping mechanisms following a life event, traumatic or negative experience or simply everyday struggles. Not only does it shape how we ‘bounce back’, it also affects the way we think, feel and act in everyday situations.
Throughout the day, we will focus on the many areas of resilience relevant to clients post-injury. From the science behind resilience, through to how behaviour is affected, sleeping and eating for resilience and mental health and finally personal, family and professional resilience.
The conference will share expert opinion & knowledge about resilience and how to support clients as well as some useful insights into how we can all enhance our resilience levels. The day is relevant to those working with people following catastrophic injury within the legal, insurance and rehabilitation sector and APIL accreditation is pending.
After the conference we’ll also host our annual charity gala dinner for a chance to unwind and catch up with colleagues and key contacts whilst raising money for a great cause.
