The Bush & Co Mentorship Programme

A key initiative of our investment in our team's growth and development is our ground-breaking Mentorship Programme, designed to build new standards in best practice within case management and equip all new case managers with the essential skills and competencies needed to excel in case management and their respective clinical operations.

Using the competency frameworks of CMSUK, BABICM, and the VRA to inform its design, the Bush & Co Mentorship Programme is a comprehensive 6-month journey tailored to provide a solid foundation for professional success. With an appreciation that the early stages of any career can be daunting, we have created an immersive experience to ensure case managers have the necessary tools, knowledge, and support to thrive in the field.

The Mentorship Programme offers two pathways; one is to instil the core competencies attributed to accomplished case managers and the other is to expand clinical knowledge in specific areas where the business and the individual share a belief that they can make a positive difference.

What differentiates our Mentorship Programme is the calibre of mentors that work alongside individual case managers. Each mentee is directly supported by a senior colleague and has access to the Clinical Operations Team, led by Fiona Kenny as the Head of Case Management and Rehabilitation at Bush & Co.

Relationships between mentor and mentee are respectful and collaborative and are built upon sharing of knowledge and guidance on how to apply it in case management practice. Every mentor is a seasoned professional with a wealth of experience in case management and clinical operations. They are passionate about sharing their expertise and guiding mentees every step of the way. Their invaluable insights empower them to navigate complex scenarios, make informed decisions, and deliver the highest standard of care to clients.

We firmly believe that investing the professional development of all employees not only benefits the individuals but also elevates the organisation as a whole. Through our Mentorship Programme, we aim to cultivate a nationwide community of skilled case managers who are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of clients across the UK.
