Helen joined Bush & Co as managing director in 2016 at a time when the business was embarking on significant change and transformation. Since that time Helen has led the business into exciting times of growth and sustainability and has developed the business through a robust strategy, developing people and building long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships. She has expanded our network of associate case managers and associate expert witnesses, formed charitable partnerships resulting in new, specialist services and has developed new offerings to meet the needs of those we work with.
Prior to joining Bush & Co, Helen held senior leadership positions in the personal injury, healthcare and retail sectors.

Richard Rickwood,
Director of Operations
Richard joined Bush & Co as operations director in June 2020 and has overall responsibility for the internal operations teams, IT and systems and our Case Management & Rehabilitation service. He also leads the change management programmes across the organisation and during his time has implemented significant improvements to finance and operational systems to meet growing demand.
Richard has a background in financial services, predominantly insurance, before moving into the legal and claims sector. He has been an non-executive director in the education and charity sector and is currently non-executive commercial director in a MAT for special needs schools.

Fiona Kenny,
Head of Case Management and Rehabilitation
Fiona joined Bush & Co in 2015 and is responsible for the leadership of our Case Management & Rehabilitation Service and Clinical Operations Managers who look after our large and ever growing network of associate and employed case managers, and sits as the Caldicott Guardian and lead clinician within our Governance Board; ensuring we work to the best interests of our clients. Fiona sits on the Professional Development Committee of the Institute of Registered Case Managers.
She is a registered nurse with over 30 years’ clinical experience in acute medical settings and the management of chronic disease and associated complications. Fiona has previously worked in a leadership role within a global insurer.

Jo Wilkins,
Head of Care Support Services
Jo joined Bush & Co in 2020 as the Head of Care Support Services. She is responsible for leading and developing Bush & Co Care Solutions and delivering growth in our offering to deputies and solicitors for direct employment within the home. She is Registered Manager for Bush & Co’s Care Provision, working closely with CQC on compliance and maintained our ‘Good’ rating with no areas for improvement.
She has 22 years’ experience working in the neurological sector developing and managing inpatient rehabilitation services across Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and Bedfordshire.

Amey Haywood,
Head of Business Operations
Amey joined Bush & Co in 2016 and is responsible for the leadership of our business operations including quality assurance, reports production, enquiries and instructions; ensuring a best in class service is delivered. During her time with Bush & Co, Amey has worked on Class Actions, providing guidance, organisation and consultancy to key customers on large scale cases as well as growth across our expert witness services.
She previously worked in the healthcare sector as head of community services and Registered Manager for the UK’s largest mental health charity and prior to that the automotive industry.

Cathy Preston,
Head of Expert Witness
Cathy joined Bush & Co in 2015 and is responsible for leadership of the associate expert witnesses. She is responsible for the recruitment, training and development of the Bush & Co experts and ensuring that expert reports which are provided to customers meet the highest of quality standards within the medico legal industry.
By background, Cathy is a Chartered and State Registered physiotherapist with over 25 years’ experience in clinical practice. She has worked in senior roles within the NHS and as a clinical director of a large physiotherapy company in the private sector. She is an experienced and highly-regarded expert witness, having prepared both liability and quantum reports for Claimant and Defendant firms for many years as an associate of Bush & Co.

Sandra Hale,
Finance Manager
Sandra joined Bush & Co in 2022 and is responsible for managing the daily finance operations including billing, client accounts, receivable collections, accounts payable and financial reporting. More recently completing the annual budget process, forecast, business financial analysis and commentary for the Operations Board.
Prior to joining Bush & Co, Sandra worked within the finance department at NAHL Group plc. She is a qualified management accountant and is currently working towards her ACCA qualification.

Sally Bayliss,
Clinical Service Lead: Rehabilitation and Case Management
Sally joined Bush & Co in September 2018 and has overall responsibility for the clinical operations managers. She also oversees our behaviour specialists and is clinical lead for safeguarding.
Sally has worked in healthcare and social care for over 30 years including clinical and non-clinical leadership and management experience, knowledge and skills. Sally is a community learning disability nurse and has previously worked as an operations manager within the NHS.

Carly Johns,
Head of Marketing and Engagement
Carly joined Bush & Co in 2018 and has overall responsibility for marketing and engagement of our services and our story. She leads on marketing campaigns, social media, digital marketing and our award winning, well known ‘Happy Post. Carly is also responsible for associate and staff engagement, helping to ensure two-way communications, trust and communication make Bush & Co a great place to work.
Carly has worked in marketing communications for over 20 years in sectors including finance, healthcare and manufacturing.

Shannon Hartin,
Head of Business Development
Shannon joined Bush & Co in 2021 and is responsible for developing and maintaining the established, rich relationships we have with instructing parties across the legal and insurance sector. During her time at Bush & Co Shannon has supported the growth of our customer relationships and enquiries, contributing strongly to the strength of our reputation within the sector.
Prior to joining us, Shannon worked in the personal injury and clinical negligence sector where she held roles in the lead generation and legal costs arenas.
