Bush & Co Behaviour Specialist to host virtual event with Irwin Mitchell Personal Injury Team

Behaviour Ripples – The Barriers of Behaviour for those with traumatic brain injury that challenge a positive rehabilitation programme

We are delighted to be involved in an upcoming virtual event hosted in partnership with Irwin Mitchell titled Behaviour Ripples – The Barriers of Behaviour for those with traumatic brain injury that challenge a positive rehabilitation programme.

Being able to support clients to reach their post-injury potential becomes more challenging when all of those supporting the client are impacted by the ripple effect of resistance and continual barriers to success.

On Tuesday 27th October between 11am – 12pm Bush & Co Behaviour Specialist Bev Palmer will join David Withers and Hilary Wetherell, both Partners in the Personal Injury Team at Irwin Mitchell on an expert panel to explore the very real challenges faced by those working with individuals with a traumatic brain injury in the medico-legal field. It will focus on how to identify potential problems quickly and creatively to be able to work towards a collective, ethically and financially responsible solution for the client and their goals.

During the webinar Bev will present a real case study which will demonstrate the challenges encountered by the case manager, therapist and litigators which both highlights and amplifies the myriad of complexities involved when trying to manage the ripple effect, and what to do when it becomes a tsunami.

Bev Palmer is an experienced behaviour specialist having worked with children, young adults, adults and their families for over 25 years, who present with behaviour that is both complex and challenging. To find out more about Bev’s expertise please click here.
