Case Management Surgeries

Helping you make confident decisions about case management

In complex injury cases, the first decisions made can shape a client's entire rehabilitation journey.

At Bush & Co, we understand how important it is to identify the right case management support from the outset. What appears straightforward on paper rarely tells the full story. A brain injury, limb loss, spinal cord injury or complex orthopaedic injury can present in many different ways, with very different rehabilitation needs depending on the individual, their circumstances and the support already around them.

Our Case Management Surgery gives you access to early clinical insight so you can make informed, confident decisions about case management and the case manager your client may need on their team.

Each surgery is a 15-minute, confidential, free-of-charge session with a senior clinical member of the Bush & Co team.

What is a Case Management Surgery?

A Case Management Surgery is a short, focused conversation designed to help you sense-check a case, explore whether case management may be appropriate, and understand the type of support that may be needed.

It is not about simply checking availability. It is about giving you access to clinical reasoning and experienced case management insight at an early stage, so you can move beyond the headline injury and consider the client's wider rehabilitation needs.

How we can help

Our Case Management Surgery is a short, focused conversation to help you sense-check a case, explore appropriate case managers and understand the type of support your client will need.

It's not about simply checking case manager availability. It is about giving you access to clinical reasoning and experienced case management insight at an early stage.

Our Case Management Surgery can help you:

  • delve deeper into the CVs we have sent you to make sure your case manager choice is effective;
  • consider the complexity of the case beyond the injury label;
  • identify the right type of case manager for your client;
  • understand whether case management is needed and, if so, when it may be appropriate to involve a case manager;
  • sense-check the approach to rehabilitation and support pathways
  • support the best possible match between the client's needs, clinical expertise and case manager experience
  • make decisions with confidence and clarity from the outset

We will also recommend other case managers outside of Bush & Co if we feel your client's needs can be best met elsewhere.
