What did Investors in People say about us?

The levels of trust across the business are at an all-time high and trust in leadership was measured at 92%. At Bush & Co we use the principles of The Trusted Executive and are really pleased that despite challenging times, our people trust the way we do business, the decisions we make and the way we treat them.

We were also commended on our communications. We've worked extremely hard on how we communicate remotely and keep a strong culture of being unified, passionate, curious and driven. We focus on informing, engaging and educating and in 2020 had a strong focus on wellbeing. During the pandemic we adapted our communications to reduce potential isolation, encourage both personal and work discussions and to ensure that people knew where additional support is available. We even made 'Happy Post' something we committed too with treats in the post and 'Postcards from Home' became our new way of finding out what everyone had been up to.

Our assessor also recognised that our values capture our culture and define our behaviours, we responded well to the pandemic, team spirit is strong and people feel challenged, fulfilled and that they are making a difference.
